Apple Scented Candles (With Purely Apple Notes) You Should Try

Have you been trying to find a good apple scented candle that smells purely like apples? Not one that is mixed with a bunch of other notes causing the apple fragrance to take the backseat? Well my candle junkie friends, that is exactly what I’m here to help you with today!

I love apple scents and while I do like all kinds of apple fragrances, I also enjoy when a candle lets the apple notes take center stage. And I’ve tried quite a few candles to find ones that do this well.

Below is a list of what I consider to be the best apple scented candles with the most authentic apple smells to them.

Up first is a candle that we reviewed a few years ago on the blog. Apple Orchard by Jewelscent is an excellent authentic apple smelling candle that has some incredible scent throw and will live up to its name and make the room you burn this candle in smell like an orchard.

I love this candle, and if you like pure apple scented candles I’m sure you’ll love this one as well.

Next we’ve got a candle that we ranked as one of our favorite candle scents from the Yankee Candle classic scent collection. Macintosh is pure apple goodness in a candle and one that won’t break the bank either.

While I don’t always recommend Yankee Candles, you can’t deny their value, and some of their scents are done very well. If you like apple scents you can’t go wrong here.

Crisp Apple by Village Candle is so very similar to Macintosh by Yankee Candle not only in appearance, but in how well they capture an authentic apple fragrance. The biggest difference in my opinion being that this candle features 2 wicks which gives the candle better scent throw, but also causes it to burn faster.

The two candles smell pretty similar, can be found online for similar price points, and are similar quality-wise.

If you’re deciding between the two I’d say choose this one if you want something stronger but won’t last quite as long, otherwise get the Macintosh candle from Yankee.

I had another candle in this position from another one of my favorite brands when I initially posted this article, however, that scent isn’t available all year round, and so I decided to switch it out with another one that I love which you can actually find so you can try it for yourself! And don’t think I chose just any candle to replace it with. This one is delicious.. deliciously apple.

Homeworx candles are a creation of longtime brand favorites Slatkin & Co. and their candles released under the Homeworx name are powerhouses of fragrance. These 18 oz candles burn strongly with 4 wicks and throw hot scent especially well. They burn pretty quickly due to these 4 wicks, however, they still have a good overall value to them.

Basket of Apples is their most pure apple scented candle and if you love it half as much as I do, you should be pleasantly surprised with this one.

I am head over heels for Homesick’s Let’s Toast Candle. It has got to be one of the best smelling champagne candles out there.

There’s an initial citrus burst that’s softened by the apple and pineapple, creating an upbeat, party-like atmosphere. The champagne grapes provide a fizzy note that’s just perfect for any celebration.

Lastly, due to the natural soy wax blend and premium cotton wicks, this candle is a dream to burn.

These candles are pure apple-y goodness. Tart and fresh smelling apple candles that will surely give you a strong apple scent without a lot of the blended extras that you often find with apple candles.
