Candle Advent Calendars for a Cozy Countdown to Christmas

Hi friends! Where does the time go?? Summer has once again come to a close and before you know it the holidays will be here. The last few years I’ve been too late in posting content for the holidays.. but not this year! I’m starting extra early lol.

Since Diptyque just announced their new holiday collection for 2023 which includes their new advent calendar, I thought a post on candle advent calendars might be cool!

I’ll be covering Diptyque’s candle advent calendar a little more in-depth, but also going over some alternatives and how you can use them as great gift ideas for this holiday season.

Diptyque brings out limited edition products pretty frequently and has a new set of holiday items each year. This includes a yearly advent calendar that contains 11 mini candles along with other luxury scented goodies from the brand.

Yes, it comes with a hefty price tag, but if you are looking for a cool gift idea for someone who is already a Diptyque candle lover or are looking for a cool way to explore some of their scents yourself, this might just be the perfect purchase.

Diptyque’s advent calendar is currently available for pre-order with an official release date of October 11th, 2023.

Voluspa has a 12 day candle advent calendar that comes with 12 of their Japonica candle scents each in cute embossed glass jars.

This one is a little more affordable than the Diptyque one so that’s a positive. I find Voluspa candle scents to be a little softer than many of the other similar brands which is a good thing if you don’t like candles that are too overpowering.

Once again, a great way to explore different Voluspa scents to find what you like. Included are some scents that made our favorite scents list for Voluspa.

To create your DIY version, all you need are some mini jars, votive candles in your chosen candles, and a bit of creativity. Fill the jars with the votives, label each jar with the days leading up to Christmas, and assemble them in a beautiful box. Voila, your DIY candle advent calendar is ready!
