Candle Raising Awareness For Autism: Nest – Apple Blossom!
Hi guys, I just wanted to share a quick post with you today on a new candle release that I thought was really cool.
Nest New York just released a brand new candle that is raising awareness for autism. The candle is being released just in time for April, which is autism awareness month. 10% of the sales will go to NEXT for Autism, which is a non profit created by the founder of Nest Fragrances, Laura Slatkin.
This isn’t the first candle that they’ve put out to help raise awareness either. The previous candle that they released back around 2010 called Blue Garden raised money for Autism Speaks, which is the country’s largest organization in researching a cure and prevention of autism.
This new candle scent, Apple Blossom, is a mix of crisp red apples and apple blossoms, balanced with white amber and cedar wood. Expect a scent that is not super fruity as most nest fragrance scents don’t end up going that direction but towards smooth, warm scents.
It sounds like a fragrance that is sure to be a favorite for however long it is around for and I can’t wait to check this one out. I encourage anyone looking to help out a good cause to go check it out as well!
