Here Are 8 Awesome DIY Mason Jar Candle Ideas (Pin and Share These Gems!)

  1. Beach Bliss: Capture the ocean’s essence with beach sand, seashells, and tea light candles in a canning jar. A raffia ribbon encircling the rim completes this coastal look.
  2. Patriotic Pride: Create layers of red, white, and blue-dyed rice in a Mason jar, topping it with a tea light candle. Accent with a stars-and-stripes ribbon for an instant Independence Day sensation.
  3. Festive Fourth: Not into dyeing rice? Paint Mason jars red, white, and blue for the Fourth of July. Add tea light candles, and a burlap strip, garnishing with a tiny American flag to finish your festive creation.
  4. Glitter Glam: Unleash your inner sparkle with glitter, spray glue, and Mason jars. Tape off the jar’s top, add glue, and roll in glitter. Gold or silver is classic, but bright colors like purple or turquoise work too!
  5. Shabby Chic Elegance: For a delicate look, paint your Mason jar in soft shades like white, ecru, or pastel pink. Scratch off bits of paint for a distressed effect, then wrap the rim with twine and add unique accents like keys or charms.
  6. Lacy Luxury: Adorn Mason jars with thrift-store lace remnants, secure with fancy ribbon, and insert a tea light or pillar candle. Your lacy creation is ready to impress!
  7. Lace Silhouette Surprise: For a twist, wet a lace doily, place over a jar, and spray with colored paint. Once dry, remove the doily to reveal a stunning lace silhouette.
  8. Simple Splendor: If you prefer an easier route, pour colored pebbles or marbles into Mason jars, nestle a tea light inside, and voila! You’re set for a night of elegance.

You have some really lovely ideas! The idea of the coloured sand is definitely something I would be interested in and the shabby chic look of scratching off the paint.
